The Sherlock Solar System Model

A very special edition which is back by popular demand. This is a student model made of plastic and metal which has been completely disassembled and re-imagined as if it were found in a Victorian library. The base has a faux finish appearance of burled wood with ornate brass fittings. The planets have been distressed and antiqued to look like wood and ceramic. The labels have been painstakingly put together by hand requiring an absurd amount of time and effort. "The Sherlock." It will be signed and dated. This model requires 3-4 weeks before delivery. Need it before then? Inquire about the date needed. Shipping and insurance is included in the contiguous 48 states but we will ship outside of the country at your expense.

This is approximately 9.5" tall and extends about 18" out from the center. It's big and showy.

It runs on 4 AA batteries (included.) The model is not intended as a nighlight - it automatically shuts off after about 15 minutes. The four smaller planets rotate at a faster speed than the four larger planets which creates an impressive display. We are working on a video, so check back.
